Future

A world war will start before the turning of the mid XXI century. The trigger will be a simultaneous nuclear attack on 7 of the worlds most important cities by an unknown attacker. The cities bombed will be: Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Xangai, Tokio and Moscow. US, UK, France, Germany and Russia accuse some countries in the middle east and North Korea of supporting terrorism and thus being co-responsible. China responds, intensifying their military presence in the middle east and of the coast of N Korea NATO dissolves because of French accusations to American plots to control world resources. Many countries in europe allie with France, including Germany. US and UK declare war on China for wagging wars on southeast asia and Australia for resource control. France is in turmoil. Civil war and revolts devastate the country. Soon after Germany follows. American economy collapses, soon follows world economy. China uses it's massive stockpiled resources in huge national projects to quickly come out of the recession. America mobilises for war and invades Arabia Peninsula, Iran, Iraq and Egypt with the help of Israel. China responds viollently and a gigantic naval and air war starts in the persian gulf. Russia allies with China. Japan allies with the USA but does not engage in all out war. It's efforts are focused on defending the islands against a possible chinese invasion. Japan produces technology and weapons for US in exchange for food. Arabian states light fire on their oil wells. War refugies are millions, hunger spreads, energy and food prices skyrocket. Leaving billions in famine. All this will happen between 2019-2050. Giant energy and food shortages will break the war as societies crumble. Countries star to focus their attention on national security and order. Civil wars run rampant in many nations. Hatreds between countries and communities grow. Peace comunities start to spread to counterweight the violent escalade.
